Thank you for joining me on the most pointless and epic of journeys. Recently, I, the author, came up with an idea that nobody has ever thought of before: a slow-burn murder mystery in a small mountain town. This web novel is based on a true story, although I don’t have the rights to that story, so to avoid legal persecution I have changed all the names of the people and places involved, as well as all of the details of the story. As a Chinese American, I think everything in life is better with a side of rice. Fries are too greasy, anyway, and do we really want to contribute to America’s growing obesity epidemic? That’s why I’ve specially prepared¬†for you in my well-equipped kitchen a delicious, healthy, organic, low-sodium, low-fat, sugar-free, gluten-free, free-range, cruelty-free, non-GMO dish of murder with a side of rice.
